Have you ever thought about changing your room so that it became a perfect place to hang out? If you had all the money in the world, you could build an addition on your house just for you. Since that is not an option, you can make a plan for changing the room you have.

THE PROJECT: You are going to be practicing designing in three dimensions in this lesson so that you can learn to “see” the length, width and height of space. The project starts with designing a model room in a shoebox, and then you can take a good look at your own room and make a plan for changing it to suit your personality and living style.

Things you need to do this project:

-Shoebox
-Large pieces of white & colored construction paper
-Ruler
-Pencil with eraser
-Colored markers or crayons
-White glue
-Clear tape
-Scissors
